I have been spending a lot of my time the last two months working on a food planning project for quick meals to make. I have uploaded one of the pages I’ve made so you can benefit from my work.:) In the planning that is not shown here I am working on a file of Breakfasts, Lunches, Dinners, Salads, Treats and Sauces which are all Whole Foods Plant Based. I work on these projects to make food planning seamless for my family. We know what foods are available in the pantry and always have plenty of healthy vitalizing foods to make. I like sharing these things with you!
Enjoy some simple healthy meals with this planner. It uses up what is in your pantry, fridge and garden if you have one growing, or what you have stored from last season.

These are the books I am studying every spare minute I have (which hasn’t been enough!). It is my plan to have food all through the fall and winter. I have often had carrots in the garden at Christmas time that I go out and dig, but I want to take it further than that this year. I hope I get enough time to study it to make it successful. Sometimes doing is the same as studying. I’d like to have some books behind me before I ‘dig’ in too deep though. Thank goodness I am going to have an amazing mentor to walk me through it. Oh, I didn’t tell you? Jim Kennard, author of many a garden book and President of www.growfood.com is coming to my house for a few days to mentor me. I am soooo excited! I know I am going to ‘grow’ leaps and bounds with what he will have to teach me and I am anxiously looking forward to meeting him! Just think of the bounteous harvest he is going to inspire! 🙂
I am adding a link to Amazon here, in case you want to check any of these out for yourself! It does support my family if you click the banner. Thank you.
I just read a book called Raw Food Detox Diet by Natalia Rose. I highly recommend her book. It teaches about food combination and goes into many facets about detoxification like fasting, colonics, and quick exit foods.
I like that she helps people transition into whole foods through easy steps. She has a scale from 1 to 5 that says where you are and where you want to be. The number 5 is basically the standard American diet, and 1 is someone who only eats raw. I am a number 2, which means I eat raw most of the day with some cooked foods with my dinner.
So, being a number 2, here is what I ate yesterday. Oh, and it is this style of eating that has me within 9 pounds of where I was when I was a fit 17 year old!
Water until noon.
Noon- Green Lemonade
2:00 pm big bowl of watermelon
(I would have had more fruit but my day got busy at this time)
4 pm I had a cookie and a yogurt ice cream on my date with my 10 year old boy.
7pm Guacamole salad and a cooked bok choy with cashews side dish
I lost almost a pound today after that day of eating. I love it and I don’t feel deprived or hungry!
Here are some documentaries on health, food, and eating that I have really enjoyed. They are not in any sort of order. Prepare to be inspired! Enjoy! Happy Healthy, Elisa
